Privacy Policy

Jareon is designed to be useful without asking for your bank. The trust promise is simple: no bank sync, no surprise automation, and review before saving.

Local-first direction

Purchase records, receipts, and proof are designed to stay under your control on your device.

No bank sync

Jareon does not require bank accounts, card feeds, or financial institution connections.

Review before saving

Every draft should be reviewed by you before it becomes part of purchase history.

Reminders optional

Return windows and follow-up alerts are designed as user-controlled reminders.

What data Jareon may store

Jareon stores purchase records you create, such as merchant, amount, date, category, tags, notes, proof status, return dates, warranty dates, refund status, and reminders.

Receipt and proof storage

Receipt images and proof files are meant to stay connected to the purchase record they belong to. Jareon is not built around hidden proof uploads or a bank-connected transaction feed.

Review-first control

Jareon can help structure a purchase draft, but the user remains in control of what becomes a saved record. The useful boundary is fast capture followed by review.

What Jareon does not do

  • Connect to bank accounts or card feeds
  • Automatically save purchases without your review
  • Upload receipts or proof as a hidden default
  • Track location, contacts, or unrelated device data
  • Share purchase data with advertisers

Analytics

Jareon may use privacy-respecting website analytics to understand page performance and waitlist conversion. Purchase content, proof images, and identifiable purchase details should not be included in analytics events.

Contact

Questions about privacy can be directed through the Jareon waitlist path. A full privacy policy will be reviewed before public launch.
